As a Sales Support Assistant, you play a crucial role in our sales team, focusing on selling advertising space and event participation options to the Belgian travel trade. You will support our Commercial Director in her daily activities and help her in building strong relationships with clients in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Commercial Director in sales activities, including preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts.
- Support the planning and execution of advertising campaigns and monitor deadlines.
- Manage client data in our CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Follow up on leads and appointments, contributing to achieving sales targets.
- Coordinate communication between various departments such as marketing, event planning, and administration.
- Assist in organizing events, both internally and externally, ensuring smooth handling of logistical tasks.
- Maintain client relationships and serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and requests as assistant to the sales manager
- Prepare reports and analyses to support the Commercial Director.
Profile
- Experience in a sales support role, preferably in the travel or media industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.
- A proactive, customer-oriented attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
- Affinity with the travel and media industry is a plus.
In this role, you will be a key supporter of our Commercial Director contributing to the growth of our presence in the Belgian travel industry.
